ESPN: BRITISH OPEN

ESPN joined forces with Perception to launch a brand new campaign for The British Open 2010. Original Artist renderings of the famed St. Andrews' golf course were painted in watercolor, then animated and brought to life by Perception's team. The artist was shot live-action against a green screen, and then composited into a panoramic landscape of the old course. A soundscape of historical golf announcers is set against a sweeping orchestral piece, to bring dignity and reverence to The British Open rounds. This ad campaign consists of a collection of broadcast spots, as well as interactive banners and print media. The :30 commercial spot began airing during ESPN's coverage of the 2010 World Cup.
