Sony BMG and Director Maurice Marable of Believe Media, sought out Perception’s expertise to create a contemporary graphic reuse of the classic blue note style, to be implemented in a music video for Grammy nominee, Raphael Saadiq’s hit single, “100 Yard Dash”. Shot digitally on the red camera in native 4K, Perception’s workflow between Final Cut and After Effects was seamless. Don’t forget to watch the Grammy’s, February 8th on CBS. Saadiq is nominated for three awards, including R&B album of the year for “The Way I See It”.

Tylenol Feel Better

Perception designed a series of in-store animationspots for Tylenol’s "Feel Better" campaign, in collaboration with Deutsch, New York. Simplicity and elegance were key components to this campaign.

ABC News Vote 2008

Perception designed an entire graphic package for ABC News' coverage of the 2008 election. We created a kit which was rebuilt in VIZ RT, and animated to real time data feeds. Our original logo design was used across all media platforms, including billboards, print ads and outdoors. The package was broadcast on multiple screens in Times Square reaching a crowd of thousands. ABC News' coverage featuring Perception's work was the highest rated broadcast of any network on election night, watched by over thirteen million viewers.

Subway Prizes

Perception was tasked by MMB to craft an energetic set of spots for SUBWAY aimed at kid specific channels. The designs needed to utilize Nickelodeon's Naked Brothers Band and Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb shows blended seamlessly with SUBWAY's brand.

Hulk vs. Wolverine

Marvel Studios and Lionsgate Films tapped Perception to design, animate and direct this :60 HD title sequence for the animated feature Hulk vs. Wolverine. The team at Perception crafted a vast combination of original 3D models, live action footage, unique composting techniques and 2D design to execute this labor of love in only three weeks!

NBC Super Sunday

Perception teamed up with NBC studios to create graphic-driven promotional spots to air in preparation for Superbowl Sunday. This is the first time since 1997 that NBC will be hosting the Superbowl. Tune in for kickoff and watch the Steelers take on the Cardinals for Superbowl XLIII.

SPEED Wrecked

Perception collaborated with SPEED to create a 360-campaign for the network’s flagship reality show, Wrecked. The show follows the lives of the O'Hare Towing crew in Chicago as they cooperate with emergency services clearing huge pile-ups and working in the midst of constant danger. Perception shot footage of the towing crew, and then composited it with some of the show’s most devastating crashes to create dynamic framework installments for the multiplatform campaign. Perception’s work continued through the series’ second season with a package of promotional spots.

Delta Campaign

Digitas commissioned Perception to develop a campaign highlighting Delta’s award-winning frequent flyer program, SkyMiles. The interactive media-buy is a collection of Flash and Rich Media ads that can be seen all over the web, including a primary spot on the New York Times. Perception also crafted two in-flight videos: one featuring a 3D-animated sequence inside a Delta pinball machine and another focusing on SkyMiles partnership with SunTrust. The videos reach more than one million customers each month on Delta's international SNY Mets Re-Brand

In August of 2008, the cable network SNY, called upon Perception to create a network re-brand. Our challenge was to create an engaging show package that evolves with the network, while innovating the medium of sports broadcast, stimulating SNY viewers. Using a real-time graphic engine and an integrated workflow, we structured a template-driven-interface, which links our 3D graphic environment with an SNY database of game statistics and score information.

Microsoft Office

Perception created this teaser as the first in a series of promotional viral videos to announce the release of the newest Microsoft Office software. Our work on the teaser for Office 2010:The Movie was also mentioned in 'Boards Magazine.

Showtime Weeds

Showtime sought out Perception's talent to develop a visual campaign for the upcoming season of the flagship show, Weeds. We created a life-like 3D spiderweb from real life references and composited live action footage to represent the main character's own tangled web of lies and deception.  We crafted a stylized environment which spins and wraps around lead actress, Mary-Louise Parker,  to spell out the sins of seasons past and foreshadow events to come.  Tune in Monday, June 8th to see the premiere of Weeds on Showtime.

SPEED Bullrun

Perception teamed up with SPEED to develop a fully integrated campaign promoting the network’s first season of the reality series, Bullrun. The show, based on the legendary Bullrun car rally, features twelve teams competing against each other for over 3000 grueling miles. For Bullrun’s second season on SPEED, Perception directed a live action shoot with WWE champion and host Bill Goldberg, who was later composited "larger than life" into environments showcasing the rally. Perception crafted a full graphics campaign for each season, including over 400 broadcast spots, which aired nationally. NBC Ch. Season

Perception partnered with NBC to create the image campaign for their upcoming championship season, which begins on May 1 with the Kentucky Derby and continues through Wimbledon. The first spot rollout debuted during the 2010 Olympic Games. Perception took a spin on NBC's classic peacock logo by integrating the championship events onto the face of the feathers. Powerade Zero

Perception created a promotional ad for Coca Cola's no-calorie sports drink, Powerade Zero. Reactive dynamics were used to simulate the forces of momentum and gravity in crafting the photoreal sports drink bottles. The realism in the way the bottles react when they strike against each other was photographed then recreated in a CG environment to give full flexibility to the animation of the product. Additional camera movement gives the viewer the feeling that the force applied by the colliding bottles was abrupt. 3D texturing, lighting and an intense eye for design and detail all lead to a finished product both strikingly stylized and beautifully refractive.

Planet Hulk

Perception teamed up with Marvel Studios to design, animate and direct a title sequence for their animated feature Planet Hulk. Without giving away any key plot lines, Perception wanted to add their own creative flair while still capturing the spirit of one of Marvel's most iconic characters, the Incredible Hulk. Perception crafted a fully animated CG environment and incorporated diverse design elements in the cave world including sand particles, liquid simulation and photo reel plant growth.
